Do
I need to register?
- Yes.
- Please provide
a valid email address to the Registry 1 counter.
- Proceed
to CIC HELP Desk to register for myPride access.
- Bring along
your student ID.
- Your password
will be emailed to you immediately.
- If you do
not receive your password within 24 hours please check
with Registry 1.
How
much does it cost?
- As long
as you are a student of HELP Institute, myPride is free
of charge.
- You can
access myPride anywhere via Internet.
How
do I login?
- You must
have an Internet connection, with either Netscape Communicator
version 4 (or above) or Internet Explorer version 4
(or above).
- Access the
website with this URL http://mypride.help.edu.my.
- Go to student
service and click myPride (Student Internet).
- Click the
Logon to myPride.
- Enter your
student ID when prompted, example A9900123.
- Enter your
password.
- Click the
Login button.
What
access do I have?
- Enrol and
add/drop subjects.
- View your
results, course status and personal particulars.
- Check financial
status.
- E-trade.
How
do I enrol and add/drop subjects?
- Once you
have logged in, click on to the add/drop subjects.
- Select the
right subject.
- Click submit.
- An e-mail
will be sent to you immediately upon processing by confirming
or rejecting your request.
- If confirmed,
please collect your invoice at the Registry 1 counter
and proceed to Bursary for payment.
- If rejected,
please proceed to Registry 1 counter for verification.
Note:
Enrolment and add/drop subjects are only allowed within
the due date
given from the commencement date of the programme.
Please proceed to Registry 1 counter for any add/drop
after the add/drop due date.
How
do I change my e-mail address?
- Proceed
to the Registry 1 counter and complete the change of
address form.
How
do I change my password / hint?
- Log into
the myPride with your current password and click on
the Password
link at the top of the page.
- Enter your
old password in the first box. Your password is case
sensitive, so remember which letters you capitalized.
- Enter your
new password (as you would like it to be) in the second
box. Choose a password that is at least eight (8)
characters long, it may contain numbers (0-9) and
upper and lowercase letters (A-Z, a-z), but no spaces.
Make sure it is difficult for others to guess!
- Confirm
your new password in the third box.
- Enter your
password hint in the fourth box. (Choose a password
hint that only you know the answer to and that is not
related to your password. If you forget your password,
we'll verify your identity by asking you for the answer
to this question.)
- Enter your
answer for the password hint in the fifth box.
- Click the
"Change " button.
Note:
You must change your password every 365 days.
If you do not, you will lose access to myPride . Please
use the password given by CIC HELP Desk to access
myPride and keep these details confidential and do
not share this information with anyone.
Why dont I get my password?
- If you do
not provide an e-mail address or if your e-mail address
is invalid, you will not get your password. In order
to correct or update your e-mail address, please proceed
to the Registry 1 counter and provide your e-mail address
and then proceed to CIC HELP Desk personally. Please
bring your Student ID card along.

Why doesn't my password work?
- Your password
and/or login cannot contain any spaces.
- Your password
must be at least eight (8) characters long. For increased
security, we recommend creating a password containing
both numbers and letters.
- Your password
is case sensitive, so remember which letters
you capitalized.
What
if I forget my password / hint or expired password?
- You can
get a new password by accessing the, I
Forgot myPride@help Password page.
- Enter your
user ID in the box and click Next.
- Your password
hint will be displayed. You need to enter your answer
for your password hint that you have provided in the
box and click Answer.
- Enter your
new password (as you would like it to be) in the first
box. Choose a password that is at least eight (8)
characters long, it may contain numbers (0-9) and
upper and lowercase letters (A-Z, a-z), but no spaces.
Make sure it is difficult for others to guess!
- Confirm
your new password in the second box.
- Enter your
answer for the password hint in the fifth box.
- Click the
"Change " button.
Note:
If you have forgotten your password, hint, hint answer
and your password has expired, you are required to
proceed to the CIC HELP Desk. Bring along your student
ID. They will change your password and your new password
will be emailed to you via the e-mail address you
have provided.
What
if my information is not correct?
- If the information
displayed is wrong, please proceed to the Registry 1
counter and ask for assistance.
